bilbo baggins-inspired wedding in abandoned train station

Elise and Erik. Or "Ee" as they like to go by...

Joining forces with Elise on planning her wedding was so special to me this past July. I will always look back on this wedding with such fond memories because: 1) it was my biggest so far with 450 guests 2) the guests were SO loving and warm. It was one of those crowds where even though it was massive, you could feel the love in the room. Plus with most of us being from the Bay Area, I actually ran into several mutual friends from my past where I literally did a double take while working & said, "you know them too?!" :)

My personal favorite part? The venue. One of my favorite childhood cartoons is Anastasia. So being in this abandoned train station in Oakland just transported me back to that movie and her Russian castle. I was literally singing "Once Upon a December" under my breath during our walkthrough haha.

I'll let the photos do the talking for this one; there really is not much else to say. Katrina Nicole did a STUNNING job capturing these beauties. Elise's vision for her wedding was a Bilbo Baggins dinner party and her creative family did an amazing job bringing it to life. Just look at their throne. Vegetable centerpieces. That bouquet. Her dress. WOW.

So blessed to have been a part of this team.
